Whirlpool Dishwasher problem.

    Friends dishwasher is on the blink, it is an integrated model, don't know the model, sorry.

    When you open the door the buttons and lights are on the top inside of the model, the last on the right is showing red and the symbol beside it is like 2 S shapes, any ideas?

    Won't wash.
    Power button is on, but won't do a cycle.
    Told her to unplug and try again but as it is built in she can't get at the plug, told her to trip the switch but she doesn't want to go near the fuse panel.

    is there any noise from it ?does it take in water?

    At the time nothing was happening, no water coming in, nothing.
    Haven't spoken to her since so guess it's been fixed, was wondering what the symbol was.

    Thank anyway.
