I keep working 5-6 years. (Last 4-5 years this same company)

Last days I was in SW office. I asked how long I can wait for dole when I leave work. Officer asked for a reason. I replied that I moved another county and live very far from work so I want to look for something closer.
She answered that the reason for this is no good reason, and will be disqualified.
    But I read on welfare:
"A person may be disqualified for Receiving Jobseeker's Benefit or Jobseeker's Allowance for up to nine weeks from the date of leaving employment if they left the employment voluntarily and without just cause."

So other information is on welfare webside and another version of the SW office ?
It is really can be full disqualified?

I got few more reason, but anyway, i don't have to get any reason... " without just cause =disqalified for 9 weeks" so where is truth?

    2. How it is look like this 9 weeks? In this 9 weeks do i have to be here and looking job? I got few family problem and have to leave country for 2-3 weeks, maybe longer, so i though i doing this during this 9 weeks waiting.

    3. 9 weeks, i will get my dole after 9 weeks, or after 9 weeks then I can applying for JSB ?

    4. Next option, i thinking about leaving job, and IE aswall, and back to my home country, try few monts find job there, and if I will find job I will stay there, but if not , (after few months maybe) i will try back here, if i back can i apply for JsB?

Sorry for many question i never ever got any dole, so i am begginers with it.

You may be disqualified for a max of 9 weeks.

As you will have signed on in order to make a claim you will have to be looking for work ect during the 9 weeks.(you are disqualified from payments not from claiming)

You will get a payment after 9 weeks

If you return to ireland and make a claim for jsb before end of Dec 2012 your stamp record for 2010 will be used for the claim.
