2005 corsa 1000cc with airbag light staying on, the diagnostic scanner says fault as B0058 - Passenger Pretensioner Circuit High Resistance will i need to replace this part or is there anything else i could try first car has an uneven idle too but no other faults is showing up on scanner, there is only 45k genuine miles on…

2005 corsa 1000cc with airbag light staying on, the diagnostic scanner says fault as B0058 - Passenger Pretensioner Circuit High Resistance

will i need to replace this part or is there anything else i could try first

car has an uneven idle too but no other faults is showing up on scanner, there is only 45k genuine miles on car but set up for 6 months with no driving

Ta

First and simplest thing to check is the wiring plug for the pretensioner under the seat. These can unplug if the seat is moved back or forward too fast.

hi yes i checked the plug, theire is a cover over it and held in casing with 2 size 10 bolts but seems fine
