    Hi all,

I just picked up a new wing mirror housing for my 2007 golf and I need to get it sprayed black. It's currently not attached to the car. Does anybody here have any recommendations as to where I could get it done at a reasonable price. I'm living in Dublin but can travel to some extent.

    Thanks

It was in Cork, but phone around a few places it's an easy job.

These guys seem to be a bit cheaper, like you I am on the look out for somewhere reasonable to get parts of my car sprayed.

I went with car craft in the end, It was €40 so not too bad. I tried Hillside but the number on the site wasn't connecting which is never a good sign.

I emailed both Hillside and car craft last night looking for an estimate on getting a bootlid and rear spoiler sprayed. Only Hillside got back to me with a price; bootlid for €150 and spoiler for €100.

Were you happy with the job? Did they do it there and then while you waited? I've one of mine that's a bit scratched wouldn't mind getting it done if it didn't involve too much.

Would you not give it a go DIY? The materials will probably cost you €30 but you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself, and nothing better to try it on than something small like a mirror casing :)

not yet, I done the spoiler myself, my current white bootlid has rust and I dont want them to just sand it down and spray over it without treating the rust, I have another bootlid in silver(rust free) which I might get them to spray white as that one has no rust. Will head over there next week and let you know how I get on.

Just to update, I got the boot lid done at Hillside and was happy with the service and work done, I dropped the car in Thursday morning and it was ready Friday evening. Here is the result.
