Apologies if there is already a thread on this, I looked but could not find one.

I am relatively new to cycling, and thinking out joining a club so that I an get involved in some events.

    I live in Dundrum.
Anyone got any recommendations on a club to join?
Are there different clubs that focus on different types of events?

Orwell Wheelers is the one that crops up most when I look online, but they only take members between Oct & March according to the website.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
St. Tiernans depart from park vale just outside dundrum on the way to stepaside at 9:30 every Saturday morning for club spins, cater for all levels, and new members seem to turn up every week since I joined about 2 months ago, top bunch of lads and lassies, see ya in the morning ;)

    Thanks,

Orwell only take people who have racing bikes also not hybrids etc. so bear that in mind. Tiernans are a very good club also in the same area.
