Motor Tax Renewal Question

    Hi there,

I recently bought a second hand Toyota Corolla and the tax is up tomorrow. I've just realised that it is not eligible for online taxing - does anyone know why this might be?

Can I go to any of the 3 motor tax offices to tax my car in Dublin or do I have to go to a specific one? I believe there are 3 - Ballymun, Clondalkin & Smithfield

What a stress! Doing it online is so much easier!

Is there any way to do it by phone?

    Thanks

Yep, I received the logbook nearly two weeks ago with all my details updated.

Isn't the pin the last 6 numbers or your chassis number or something ?

The pin is the last 6 digits of the chassis number!

If the car was off the road for a period of more than a month , it may not be possible to tax it online ( afaik )
