DELL E520 passwords

I have been given a 4 or 5 year old DELL E520 working. My first finding was that the Graphics cards was faulty, I replaced this and found that I needed a password to Install it's driver. This password is not known, probably forgotten along with the passwords of the several users. I downloaded the DELL manual and followed it's procedure for removing all passwords, but it still calls for them.
Is it possible to bypass or to remove the need for the system and the user passwords, apart from giving it to DELL?
N.B. I am not a computer expert, but I can follow most procedures - eventually!

You could try NTPASSWD, can reset the passwords of the admin account. Failing that a format/re-install of Windows may be needed

Try trinity rescue kit.Use the default setting(winpass) if the pc is running on vista.
