    hi all

    i got a nice 42 inch sony bravia tv yesterday..delighted with it ..its for kitchen so dont need 5.1 surround sound etc...but would like to add two decent speakers to the left and right of tv.have 6 foot stands ..like rich sound for music channells and radio channel from tv ...it seems to have good spec just interested in getting decent speakers that will go with the spec of the TV

    What about a soundbar? Won't give the same quality as separates but if it's just for the kitchen then it's usually a tidy solution and a good step up from the TV's speakers.

    If that doesn't suite than that you would be looking to get an amp with a pair of front speakers which can vary greatly in price depending on how much cash you have to burn.
