Driving over mini roundabouts

    Hi,
When turning right on a mini roundabout (the ones that are just painted on and not raised) is it okay to drive over them.

I always thought it was okay but today I done it and someone (that should have yielded to me) nearly crashed into the side of me. I thought it was her fault but she was shaking her head at me and another driver was looking at me as if it was my fault. On this particular nor its impossible to completely drive around but I drove straight over the centre.

If we had of crashed would this have been my fault. We would have crashed if I went most of the way around. It's just then I would hit her and not her hitting me.

    Thanks in advance

During a pre-test I went over a mini-roundabout as the marking wasn't very clear on the road so drove over it but kinda stayed left but still marked down with a fault for it.

Basing on the rules of the road you treat a mini-roundabout like a roundabout whether its distinctive like a roundabout but smaller or has a marking of a circle on it you treat it as if it a roundabout regardless! Though small and smaller space to manoeuvre I suppose give as much room and space as you can though tight try to move on promptly if you can.

Do not drive straight over these roundabouts. The other driver might only have had to yield to you, because you drove over it. If you drove around it, you might have slowed more and they might have been safely ahead of you. If they were still going to be in your way, slow further.

I was always told to treat any kind of roundabout as normal one, even those.
Should I indicate if I am going straight that I am turning off (like 1 turn before turning you indicate to left). Should I do that on mini roundabouts, even if it's just for 1 second?

Some say you should and others say you shouldn't I never did and passed my test with no marks for it.

Not sure if it's wrong, or not but I have this automatic reflex of indicating off the roundabout so I need to find out of I have to.

I'd indicate when its appropriate to do so even if its a mini roundabout.
