Found it kinda cringey and embarrassing during the euro's that he(and Giles to a lesser extent) seemed to take every available opportunity to laugh, mock and be derogatory towards the English football team and kept saying how he hoped they they would lose. Now im not saying he should be praising them as a good team or anything but maybe he should consider these facts:

Many of Ireland's greatest footballers have been ENGLISH. Two of our most successful managers(Charlton, McCarthy) are ENGLISH. Most of Ireland's players past and present, including himself and Giles, played their club football, in ENGLAND. He makes has made much of his living writing articles and commentating on soccer matches that happen in ENGLAND. Football was invented in ENGLAND. The language he likes to spout nonsense in most is ENGLISH. Sorry about the rant Ive just endured a month of this guy and I think he symbolizes why the rest of the world think we're a nation of bitter, delusional little idiots.I mean could you imagine, say Portugal having a load of Spaniards play for them and then champion them as one of there own and forget the fact that they are, in fact, Spanish? That is all. :pac:
