Is it possible to do a FETAC level 5 course concurrent to a university degree?

Everything is possible! You'd have to fit in FETAC classes around university lectures and tutorials and vice-versa. I've had students who did a Level 5 course while externally repeating subjects in their courses in the IT, but never someone doing the year for the first time. You wouldn't get a grant for both obviously and attendance would be a factor in the FETAC course, especially the 10+ days of work experience.

A FETAC level 5 course is hard work. Its not a doddle. There are a lot of assessments.

You will often have as many contact hours as you would in a BA in University.

Doing two courses at the same time is not something I'd recommend, even if there were overlaps between the two.
