I'm in the market for a new TV and was wondering if I get a TV like this, which also recieves Saorview, will I get the freeview channels also? Or do I have to be in a certain location to get them.

I currently have a satellite dish with a technomate box receiving the freeview SD channels and I'm wondering will this replace the need for the box and give me the HD channels also?

You will only get freeview if you are near the boarder, I take it you mean freesat with the techomate?
yes you need a HD box to watch freesat HD

Thanks for the help. I take it there's no TV's with built in freesat then?
I just thought it would come in handy if I could get a TV with built in HD freesat.

EDIT: After a bit more searching I see that they are available but are hard to find. Should I be on the look out for TV's with DVB-S2 tuner built in? Or is it a different tuner needed to receive freesat?
