Car Battery Chargers?

So I'm stranded with a dead battery at the moment, no jump leads and it won't push start. Fortunately there's an Argos nearby so I'm thinking of buying one of those Challenger Car Battery Charger packs, they're only about €35. Obviously I'll need to plug the thing in first, anyone know how long it will need to be plugged in before it will be able to start my car? Thanks.

    Additional info:
    12v battery
    Petrol, approx 1400cc

Looks like 30 hours charging time so that's resolved.

Just a thought.... If the battery is totally flat it's probably knackered.... might you be better putting your 35 euro towards a new battery?.... unless you think there's some other problem with car charging system??

My whole idea was flawed, I need a booster pack not a battery charger. I'm just going to get it jump started with a friend if I can.
