BA/Aer Lingus baggage charges

We are flying on a BA ticket from Dublin to Gatwick with Aer Lingus to connect with a BA flight to the US.

We are only taking the free BA allowance of one bag check in bag each and one cabin bag.

Does anyone know if we will have to pay the Aer Lingus baggage charges for our flight from Dublin to Gatwick even though we are booked with BA?

I have tried emailing BA but get a text book answer back rather than them answering the actual question and can't get to speak to anyone on their 1890 number!

    Thanks

If you've booked with BA, you don't have to play the separate charge for Aer Lingus luggage.

Thank you - was a bit concerned as the BA website is a bit ambiguous on the subject.
