baxi solo 2 50pf boiler it can take up to 30 sparks before the pilot will light and away she goes but if i turn it off and then turn it back on again straight away the pilot lights up no problem straight away. The problem is only if the boiler was not turned on for awhile. What ye think? Is the gas valve sticking when not in use for awhile.

Would guess the pilot injector is partially blocked
Do not use a pin or the like to unblock!!!

How the hell do they become blocked in the first place if there is only gas flowing through them.
