    Hi all,

About 2 months ago, I upgraded my Galaxy S from 2.2 to 2.3.6 (XXJVU) and since then, haven't been able to send or receive MMS messages. I entered the settings from the Meteor website here to no avail. I also tried the settings in Random's guide here (slightly different to Meteor's). I tried ringing Meteor support, but everything looks fine on their end. They recommended trying to send myself an MMS message but that had the same problem.

To clarify, two different people have tried sending me pictures from iPhones from Three and O2 and all I get is the text message with a download button, but when I click it, it gets stuck at downloading. I have tried sending them pictures and they just stay at sending.

Have I missed something? Anyone any ideas?

I take it you're on a custom rom?

Have you tried sending the messages while you have mobile data on? I know some roms in the past haven't been able to switch on mobile data to send or receive the message and you must do it manually?

I am using stock. Upgraded to 2.3.6 for cyanogen but was happy enough with the performance increase.

I tried with data on and off, same with wifi. Really scratching my head over this one.

Reckon it would be worth a try to go with cyanogen to see if it does anything?

you may just need to input the correct mms settings... take it into any meteor shop and one of the guys there can configure the settings for ya.

That's possible, but the guy on phone support went through the settings I had already entered and verified they were correct.

Bah, there I was hoping to avoid the retail madness of Saturdays
