How to deal with reversing around a sharp corner/kerb with hill/fall of ground?

I have had a bit of difficulty reversing around a particular kerb/sharp corner lately and wonder if anyone has any tips how to deal with it?

I know the procedure of the whole reversing, generally do ok for most reverses around the corners/kerbs but this particular one is a bit hard to crack to be honest.

Part of the path is flat and then rises at both sides, the kerb/sharp corner starts off flat then elevates up a kind of hill/fall of ground. On top of that there is a small pillar on the footpath which can be a bit of an obstruction/hazard on my view. It can be difficult enough to view the kerb sometimes in the mirrors, totally dependent on the left mirror for the manoeuvre! Could be just down to when and how I am locking the wheel??

Otherwise I am ok once I practise reversing around a corner/kerb I am ok, I am able to do it until I meet a difficult kerb/corner though. Well able to do a turnabout even on a hill!

So any tips on this I great appreciate it thanks!

I think you forgot to say what the problem is? As in what you do wrong.

Sorry, I keep swinging too wide or on the opposite side of the kerb, or I am not doing that but still too far from the kerb when I am completing the manoeuvre.

A lot of people learn to reverse around a standard corner. Certain techniques for this don't work on non-standard corners.
Basicly, it sounds like you need to steer sharper.
Ultimately you need to reverse around whatever corner you are at. So adjust your speed, observation and steering to suit the situation.
