Hi,

I have my NCT coming up next week, had failed on a few items previously but 1 of them was that the boot didn't close properly.

With the help of some cable ties it now locks into place but the only problem is that to reopen the boot I need to put the key in the boot keyhole and turn it, and it won't open just by using the handle even when all the other doors are open.

Will I pass the NCT if the tester has to use the key to open the boot?

I had a look at the NCT guide and couldn't find a clear definition only a fail reason as "Door cannot be shut or opened normally"
