    Hi,

I have a superb cycling jacket for sale - the Oxygen made by Gore.
It is probably the nicest piece of kit I have had and it is just perfectly suitable for the weather we have at the moment - it weights only about 200g, is properly waterproof, windproof and still very breathable.

It was only worn few times and the only reason for sale is that I just ordered a new one in a different colour. It is in perfect condition with no damage, never washed (but this can be done, if required).

The jacket packs into a small pouch, which you can simply put into your back pocket.

The colour is as shown on the website here - Orange/Titanium/Black

    Some reviews here.

They retailed at approx. €200, asking €110.

I like it, but the price is a bit steep.

I take it that it will pack up to go in your jersey pocket

I thought the same before I bought it. But it is worth every penny, really nice stuff.

Nice jacket, but price is steep.

    Online for 180 now.

How old is the jacket and do you have a link to sizing charts? Can't find one here.

    Cheers

I have the jacked for few months, but it was only used few times and not even washed once, so the condition is close to a new one.

Regarding the sizing, the chart is located here - you need to click on "Description" tab below the picture and then go to the bottom of the page where you can find the sizing chart.

Hi, I am based in Kilkenny area.

Alternatively I can bring it to a cycling Event, if I plan about going.

Will you be at the Ring of Kerry?

Is the fitting chart accurate? There seems to be a lot of reviews on Wiggle saying it isn't?

I think the sizing is spot on. I normally wear Medium and this jacket fits me perfectly. However, the first time I put it on, I thought it was too small, i.e. a little tight around my chest and a bit short on the front. But... I tried it without sitting on the bike, which was a mistake ;). After I sat on the bike with the jacket on and went for a spin I realised that this jacket is specifically designed for cycling - it works on the bike when you are in your normal cycling position. It is shorter at the front for a good reason, as when you are sitting, your front area get squeezed and then the jacket has the perfect length - not too long, as it sometimes happen with other products.

All in all, if you try the jacket in a shop without taking it for a ride (or at least without sitting as in cycle position), you may get an impression that there is something wrong with the fit. But once you are on the bike, it feels perfect.

If you can stretch to €90 we have a deal (if it fits of course). It is still less than half of its original value :).
And I can meet you in Killarney on Friday evening, sure.

€90 it is! I really hope it fits! I don't suppose you're in Dublin tomorrow or Thursday?

    Great so :).
Regarding the fit, I believe if you are similar body build to my (below 70kg or so), it should be no problem. It is a slim fit anyway, i.e. you can't put much more that a long sleeve base layer under the jacket.

I am not in Dublin any time soon, but should this accidentally happen, I will let you know.
