Trying to check in to two flights with Ryanair

    Hi all,

So basically I've a flight Dub to Birm and then Birm to Mont
The both flights have the same confo number!?
So when I use this confo number it takes me to check in to the Birm - Mont flight and back. Done that and printed the tickets but at no point can I find how and where to check in to the Dub - Birm flight anywhere at all. Their info line is now closed and would cost an arm and leg anyway.

Anyone know what the story is here?

Sorry, stupid question here, but are you sure they both have the same reservation number? You can't book connecting flights with Ryan air so they should have different reservation numbers. I'd go back and double check your original emails.

Thanks for the reply, not a stupid question at all. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I think was trying to justify it in my own mind and thought maybe they somehow connected the flights in the the system since the same name and credit card was used. I guess I'll just spend MORE money ringing them tomorrow to find out.

Can you not access "Manage my booking" by entering email, date, flight route, and work from there?

I hadn't tried that, then I did and the error I'm getting apears to indicate that the first flight somehow wasn't booked through properly, even though I got an itinerary email and it has been deducted from my credit card.

Now I can't even get through to the help line. :(

Be aware that Ryanair are a point to point airline. If you are delayed and miss your connecting flight its your problem :(

You check in on one and then the other seperately.

This entire story is a big face melter.
I'll spare you the drab but basically because I booked both flights at the same time but in two different browser windows their system somehow took that as a change of flight so my Dub to Birm flight got changed to a Birm to Mont flight!
I was wondering why the second flight was markedly more expensive, it was due to the change of flight fees that I didn't see at the time.
LONG story short I have the two flights now but I'm about €250 out of pocket. I've sent them a fax* (the only method of complaint they accept) explaining the details and now await their reply.

*Finding a fax machine is NOT easy. Went to two post offices, 2 newsagents, a community center, a resource center, a library and a few other places before FINALLY finding one in the Rathfarnham shopping center newsagent. What a battle.

Oh that's not good:( I would often use two ryanair windows open at once but not too book flights - one to look at the route map and the other to book.

Seems a bit strange that you can book something in one window and then open up another and it changes the original booking. Something for all us to be aware of. I hope you complaint gets resolved in a positive way...but knowing Ryanair I wouldn't be holding my breath:mad::(

Think there are fax services on the Interweb, never used myself, so can't say if they are still around!

So I got the most generic waffle email while away about how I should book flights early (which I did but their system changed) and that the price goes up closer to the flights etc yada yada, hope this doesn't deter you from using ryanair again.
It's like they either didn't read or didn't understand my complaint. Too tired to write a reply but I will tomorrow. I'm not taking this that easily.
