Are postgrad courses in Scotland free for Irish people?

Is it true that Masters and other postgrad programmes are free if for Irish citizens in Scotland? As in there are no fees to be paid?

Does this also apply to postgrads in Scotland done by distance learning?

No; I think you're getting mixed up with the situation with undergraduate fees. I applied to St Andrews last year for an MLitt and I can assure you that they are not free! :)

IIRC, there are some postgrads that are covered by SAAS.
