hey,ive been reading this forum alot of late as some of my teeth are in pretty bad shape...anyway im looking for reassurance more than anything...on my last visit to the dentist i had a small cavity filled on one of my front teeth which was a remarkable good job...my dentist wrote me out a card to get xrays taken (which i was pretty sussy about) however i got badly sick right after the appointment, like only a few days after and needed antibiotics and stuff so that threw getting the xrays taken out the window....ive arranged another appointment in a couple of weeks.....was the soonest i could get...ill have to ask my dentist to write me out another card to get the xrays taken (i hope she wont b pissed)...anyway leading to my point i have two front premolars that defo will need filling and one of my molars at the back right hand side is in really really bad condition...sooo..im wondering, what are my options?,can i get them all filled? i have no pain in the bad molar at the back but it def looks a state..and finally what about the xrays...should i be suspicious or is it just routine??....thanks for any replies in advance

Re the xrays, suspicious about what?
If the teeth can be filled/saved (+/-root canal treatment, crowns, ect), practically dentally and financially, then they will be, surely?
Only a dentist who has actually seen your teeth can answer your questions.

was just wondering if its standard procedure thats all as i know nothing about dentists...im pretty sure that my two front premolars are not that bad just need to be filled...its the back molar that im asking about because im freaking a bit about it...like i said, the decay is pretty bad around it but i have no pain so im wondering can it be filled.that all

Even a dentist wouldn't be able to diagnose/treatment plan online ;) Or over the phone!
    Less wondering more action....

People come to me all the time and here on the forum and say "bet you never saw a mouth as bad as mine" or "its a disaster, its a total mess". The truth is dentists
    1. Love to see bad teeth, that how they pay the bills.
    2. You are unlikely to be the worst mouth they saw that day, yet alone ever.
    3. Every dental problem is treatable and everyone can have a nice set of teeth it they are willing to change their bad habits and put the effort and resources necessary for nice teeth.

Mostly when people think they are really bad their problems are fairly minor, few fillings, cleaning, maybe a root canal, crown or two etc.
