grange open day

    I wasnt there but I saw a picture of a mighty piece of poaching up there earlier on in the year . How are they looking now after all this rain ?

    Some serious profit figures being spouted in the Journal from it today. If these figures are achieveable, a fellow could seriously consider giving up the day job.

    Good beef prices are helping margins ok, wasn't there myself either, anyone take any photos?

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    no photos i'm afraid!! was good overall though. I pretty much go every year, and was talking to lads on the way out that had never been to one before and said they came away with something anyway. I saw that place where twas poached before, you wouldn't think it was the same place. It looked fine in fairness.

    Always intend on going and end up not going for other reasons.

    At least we have in this country a demo farm trying to achieve as much profit as it can.

    There has and will be plenty of mistakes on the Grange Demo farm but at least they and we can learn from their mistakes.

    What was the most interesting part/info of Grange Open Day?

    if they got it all perfect first time It means they werent pushing the boat out which is what an experiment (which what this is) is ment to do.
