Hi there, I have a Labrador sib husky mix and am looking for some professional training and help so I can manage/control my dog better and be more confident with it. My dog is very loving, playful and has the sib huskys high hunt prey drive and I want the best life for my dog. I am looking for help so I can be a better owner.

Please send me a pm and Illl ring you with all the details. I'm based in mayo and am also willing to travel.

I know this is slightly off topic, but there is a crowd www.tailsandtrails.ie. Yes they deal with mushing but have alot of experience with sibs, perhaps they would point you in the right direction. Or perhaps you could try mushing and that in turn could turn your dog into a nice happy dog, and you could get some fun out of it for yourself as well.

OP if its a trainer rather than a behaviourist you're looking for I can recommend Sarah from K9 Manners. She does home boarding as well and shes great. Based in Clonbur on the galway/mayo border. let me know if you want her number.

OP, what is it that you want to do with the dog? Is it basic obedience, or are there particular issues that you are having? I'm near Enniscrone, and have a few huskies, you're more than welcome to come here and let your dog have some socialisation, I have a big, fully fenced field that my dogs run free in. I also work the dogs in harness, so if thats something that you're interested in, would be more than happy to show you the equipment and have a chat.

Super, I'm interested. I'll send you a pm about this in a week or two.
