inline fan soundproofing

    i'm fitting an inline fan in the attic of a bungalow

    is there any right way of fixing them to minimize noise?

    Motor noise or vibration?
    I had this problem with a slight vibration noise where the fan was fixed to the joist. Screwed it through a piece of tyre tube folded over and have had no problem since.
    Worth a try?
