Notable Running Endurance Challenges

A thread to keep track of notable runs by boardsies and others that we know about. Runs that don't fit the typical road or track distances and which are typically endurance in nature. I'll start it off and see where it goes. At least it can be a holding ground for people with mad aspirations ;)

    Wicklow way

(from start board in Marley Park to end board in Clonegal). 129k (80 miles).

    Caroline Reid 17h 12m 03s on 25 Jun 2012 Ref:

    Dublin Mountains way

(from Shankhill to Tallaght (inc. Masseys wood and Hellfire club). 53k

More than half of the people who have completed the Wicklow round are boardsies. That would include, off the top of my head (using real names), Finbarr McGuerin, Greg Byrne, Paul Mahon, Jason Reid, Paul Nolan, and, er, myself.

I've one or two other ones I could add as well.
