A couple of questions I'd like answered on this device...

Will I be able to play movies direct from my tablet/phone to my TV? Or will it only work through the play store?
Will it be capable of screen mirroring, similar to how the HTC HD or Apple iTV works?

I know its early days, but this could be just what I'm looking for...

Yes, you can use downloaded movies and play them direct to your tv.

What is screen mirroring?

According to engadget, you will not be able to stream from your device. All content will have to be cloud based.

Sorry I wasn't clear, you can download from the cloud and run it offline then I think? Maybe I picked it up wrong when watching the I|O keynote.
