Hi... I have to drop a relative to CUH tomorrow for some scans and I was going to go into the City and have a look around while I waited for them.

Is there any Bike Shops in the center that I could call into ?? I would expect that I woudl park in the Mark & Spenses Shopping centre and so would have to walk anywhere suggested??? Mainly looking at accessories (shirts / lubes / etc )...nothing in particular but if the price is right etc !!!!

Their is edge sports on north main street, they have a much bigger shop out near the kinsale roundabout, loaded with bikes, gear etc. Not far from where your parking, handy walk.

Hi if you are driving then The Edge have a big bike store on the kinsale roundabout you could pop in on way into city and its easily found. They also have another shop in town on north main street but that is alot smaller. Apart from Victoria cycles in victoria cross there the only ones imfamiliar with in the city. All the others i know are outside city. Other boardies would have more info.

& Kilgrews just around the corner from it on Kyle St.

You'd be as well off parking in North Main Street car park if you're going to Kilgrews and Edge. Only a couple of minutes walk.

Definitely worth the drive to Kinsale Road though.

Yup, that's the one. Take your first exit off it, and then turn in left again. Tis in the estate there.
If you get lost, look for Harvey Normans!

That's the one. When you leave CUH take the Wilton roundabout turn down to the Ring road and head for the 'Airport' (Kinsale Rd) roundabout. Stay in the left lane though and take the 1st exit (Smallest of the exits so don't blink!!) rather than going around the roundabout for the Airport. The retail park facing you is where the Edge is.
As you're approaching the Kinsale Rd roundabout you should see Smyths Toy Store on your left. It's in that park (just to give you your bearings..)

Yeah The edge are very good, staff there are very helpful, as mentioned as well victoria cross cycles, near the county hall are also worth a look, if you know your way to Riverstick behind the petrol station you will find speedyspokes cycles, lovely setup and brian really knows his stuff. :D

Hi Al... went out to the Kinsale Roundabout and found The Edge...very impressive.

But why do so much of their stock have no prices shown??? They had a Sale Rack with items not prices. Others were priced but no idea of reduction???

So... came home with nothing!!! (Wasn't looking for anything in particular.... just a bargain if I found it)
