Did anyone ever visit the Atari factory in Tipperary?

No but the "Atari Stones" pictured above are still there outside former Atari Plant Dell in Limerick.

What's the story with those stones? Is it a smashed sign? Looks like a wreaked headstone to me.

I assume it's big and heavy if it's still there? If not then I'm suprised someone didn't rob it ages ago.

    ..ish
When I worked for Dell back at the turn of the century I was down in the Limerick plant once or twice , which was where that sign was.(given the reputation of some of the workers there they may have tried to eat it for a bet!).The Tipp plant ended up owned by NAMCO for a bit.
Not sure if limerick was atari corp and Tipp was Atari games(the arcade guys) or not though?

I was thinking, we should all look to preserve anything left over from these companies that were once around.. AST, Wang, Atari etc (with permission from the property owners of course!)
You could probably build a museum's worth of stuff left over if you went looking

This guy explains what this game was actually about...

(He also reviews early 90s era FMV games, v funny)
