Hello to all you investment enthusiasts!

I am currently looking at setting up a blog of my own personal investment analysis of securities that I find interesting and would like to share with others. I am not here to advertise my blog or trying to manipulate people into buying into what shares I would like to invest in as I am still a student and do not even have the sufficient capital to start investing yet. Truth is i enjoy looking at companies financials and speculating on the future.

As I am still a student and only really studying the basics of Finance I do not know how to delve deeper into stocks and shares. I have resources such as academic books like Ben Graham's "Security Analysis" but most of the mathematical formulae go straight over my head.

So this is were you guys come in! If I am to start blogging about my analysis on corporations I am wondering what sort of calculations/ information do investors like your fine selves like to read before you individually check into a stock? Comparing previous years trends, forecasts vs actual achievement, competitor comparison, risk, etc?

I understand my professionalism and structure might be crumby at the start but everyone has to start off somewhere I guess, I will build on feedback given to help develop my blog into something worth reading hopefully while increasing my knowledge of the financial world.

Looking forward to hearing any advice from you guys and appreciate any given.
