Windows 7 - folder not refreshing with new files unless i manually refresh.

Odd problem has started happening in the past few weeks and not its happening all the time.

If i paste, save, delete or create a new file or folder anywhere on my computer i cannot see it unless i right click and select refresh.

This happens on local files and network shares. So its probably not a disk issue due to the fact it happens on network shares.

Any ideas?

funnily enough i have this problem now and then too, i usually just hit f5 when it rears its head. had a quick google there since you piqued my interest and found some answers on the microsoft site

Don't know the cause , but seeing it a lot on Windows 8. Its the same o any window & even on the desktop.

i managed to resolve this issue by disabling 'client for microsoft networks' for each of my adapters.. not sure which one fixed it specifically because ive a load in there (few virtual adapters for vmware, lan, wireless broadband etc)

if you have any networks configured that aren't in use you might try removing or disabling those those too.
