Ise vs. sí

    I came across ise in a poem-- "Ise dob áille fág ina luí". Why is this word used instead of sí?

    Sí wouldn't make any sense here.

    In any case, ise is the emphatic from of í.

    The emphatic form of é is eisean.

    iad --- iadsan

    etc
