I know this is really last minute! but can anyone tell me if this is an enjoyable course? Or was it difficult as it is it all science subjects? How was the maths side of it?
Saw it went up by 55 points last year, wonder if it would be the same interest rate?
Thanks i'd really appreciate it. :)

In 2nd year. Biology, chemistry and physics is fine in first year. But the engineering and math aspect this year was quite tough for me personally.

From what I've hear, you basically do common entry science in first year. That's only what I've heard though, I'm not a science student!

I don't do the course, but I know people who do it. I do science however and the first year is common. You do Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Most people hate Physics with Chem and Bio being the two most popular.

Second year the course (as far as I know) becomes basically 50% maths/engineering and 50% biology. The maths and engineering are supposed to be very difficult, however in saying that it is a science course so is going to be tough.

In 3rd year you continue doing engineering and Maths modules. As far as I'm aware there is a certain engineering module that has a huge failure rate, so things obviously don't get much easier. Semester 2 is INTRA.

I don't really know much about 4th year.

From people I know doing the course they say it's tough but that they love it. If you are in anyway worried about points, put down Common Entry to cienc as your second choice. Through this you can compete to get into Biotech, however places are limited so you could end up in something else.
