I am in the process of buying a new bike and am looking for some advice on which one to pick.

I have only recently started to cycle and just completed the Wicklow 200.

It is my intention to start doing more events and was hoping someone may be able to advise me on which the the two bikes listed above i should they choose
    ?

They are both lovely bikes but personally I would go with the Pinarello. They are both very stiff, unforgiving frames however. If I was in the market for a bike like that I would also consider a Pinarello DogmaK or ROKH both of which have a slightly more relaxed geometry and are a little less stiff than the Dogma2 but still have the unique Pinarello look!

My moneys on the Advanced SL ..

I have one myself as have 2 clubmates, can't recommend it highly enough.

If you have any questions, fire away.

Has to be the Giant Advanced SL

Know a good few others with them and they are reliable, firm, very responsive, climb well and solid in cornering

    +1 for the TCR.

I'm sure there are plusher frames out there but for a race bike I find the advanced SL irons out bumps pretty well. Would be interesting to do a side by side test with the new Defy advanced sl though
