Ok. I know it was stupid but I was adjusting the saddle on my road bike (due to it being to far forward and a littl to low) with an allen key and I accidently unscrewed the screws and loosened the parts which fell on the ground. I can't for the life of me though get the saddle back on. Let me explain the parts I have. I have 2 screws and 2 bols, 2 metal plates one of which I presume sits on top of the seat post and the other just over the bars underneath the saddle. I also have 2 littlewhat look like bolts aswell which the screws go through on of the 2 holes in the plate that sits on top of the seat post and through one of these. I have exhausted all sorts of ways I can think of in getting the saddle back on to no avail. Any advice before I bring it tothe lbs would be appreciated

Saddle clamps can be fiddly alright. Is the seatpost branded? If you can tell the manufacturer and model, you may be lucky enough to find a photo online which shows the clamp reasonably close up, so that you can see the correct orientation of the constituent parts.

Alternatively, post a photo of the seatpost + clamp parts, as suggested above.

A very tricky task and very difficult to explain so god bless you tube. This is about the best clip i could find, watch through it a few times and you should have a fair idea of how to re-attach your saddle.
