For me, the second dress is the more wedding appropriate and nicer, of the two. Lipsy dresses often feel more night-clubby

    I prefer the lispy one.

warehouse one is lovely. not a fan of the lipsy one. agree with above poster that its too "clubby"

    Warehouse one is much classier

The Warehouse one is the nicest. I really wouldnt worry about a high street dress OP. I wore a dress from Dunnes to a wedding and got several comments on how lovely it was - wouldn't believe me that it was 50 euro from Dunnes! :D

Just a note of caution on the second dress - I've seen two different girls wear that dress in wedding pictures on Facebook, it is a lovely dress so there's a chance someone else could wear it as well...

The second looks about five times as expensive and much nicer. I hate polyester shine some dresses have. However I'd go with very high shoes if it comes over the knees.

I like the second one,.the first one isn't a good choice for a wedding imo

the second one definitely. Maybe you could take the hem up a bit if you feel it is too long

    The second dress, definitely.

I wouldn't worry that it's from a high street shop, at my cousin's wedding a few years ago the best man's girlfriend wore a gorgeous purple and white dress from Penneys.

You wouldn't have thought it was from Penneys, it was fab! Think she paid €9 for it or something.

I love the warehouse one. I agree aswell with a lot of the other replies, wearing something from the high street isn't going to be an issue. I think most people will be concentrating on the bride, ha ha!

    Thanks to everyone for replying!!

Re the first dress being clubby, I honestly thought that when I saw a picture of it beforehand when scouting the net for dresses, i didn't even consider it as an option but when I saw it in the shop though it looked a much nicer colour and fabric so I tried it on and it didn't look too short or clubby at all and it's something I was very conscious of when shopping! My boyfriend proffered this one and thought the other one!

When I tried on the second dress I instantly loved the shape, it was very flattering and I could immediately picture what shoes bag and hair to do which was something I struggled with for the lipsy one! The only thing I was conscious of with the second one is the length as it stopped mid calf, I have pretty chunky legs and I'm not sure if this dress length is very flattering on my legs! I suppose I could get it taken up a little, thanks for that suggestion!!

My sister is going to meet me today to help me decide, shes great with these type of things so I know I'll have a decision by the end of the day!!

Someone else having the same dress as me is a great possibility with the second one for sure, I'll just have to make sure it looks better on me!!! Lol:-)
