Hey I'm new to this forum and would like some advice please,
I have a 2 computers that are hooked up together, when I start them up they just boot up to the opening screen and turn off again, going through a constant loop.
I was wondering how I would go about fixing this problem, thank you.

It's likely that there is an error somewhere in the files that allow windows to start. You will need to backup your data, Delete everything, Reinstall Windows and put your data back on the computer.

You could also attempt a repair install if you have the install CD.

Is it both computers that are doing this? How are they connected together?

I've had this before and used this link to solve it.

    I'm guessing they're xp.

You'll need two blank cd's and a burner.

You boot off the vista boot disk (yes vista because it lets you run cmd prompt).
It won't pick up the operating system (because you have xp running).
Click next, then click on command prompt.
Remove the vista cd and then put in the "saveme" cd.
Type "d:\saveme" (without quotes) and hit enter.
Follow the on screen prompts and it runs through a scan itself.

Sorted me out a few times with the reboot loop issue.

Re-installing windows seems a bit drastic without some more information especially if you can get them to boot in safe mode.

The following happens when I'm starting up the computer,
the window XP loading screen comes on logo comes on and the status bar seems to be working.

The it goes to the initializing adapters window goes back to
turns black then goes back to the Winows XP loading screen with the loading status bar and it starts all over again

in between it goes to the window where it gives you options to start up in safe mode or go back to the previous circumstance on the desktop.
I've tried all the options, startup in safe mode, startup with command prompt,
    always the same result.
the computer is connected by a sonic wall wireless network.
Should I install the window xp operating disk again and back up the computer with its data?
    thank you for your support.

Does the problem occur when all external devices are disconnected except keyboard, mouse, monitor? Was any hardware or software installed recently?

In the F8 menu, does it list "Disable automatic restart on system failure"?

If this is used then at crash time you may get a blue screen giving failure codes hinting at the cause of the problem.
