    Howdy,

I have a fujitsu siemens esprimo mobile v5535 which is gone very slow and the memory is full. I'd like to restore it back to the condition it was when I first got it but I dont have the recovery cd. I thought I would be able to find it online and download but no joy. Can anyone advise me what to do.

    Thanks

The recovery partition may be hidden, try hitting F8 at boot before Windows starts

Contact link is on that page ^^^. Looks to be 01 890 927 272

If it's windows 7 you can download here and use the activation key that should be stuck on the laptop somewhere, if it's not 7 you'll have to ring them and get them to send out discs, it's not to expensive, seen €20 quoted before.

Try doing this to see if there is a partition for making recovery discs.

    Start-Accessories-System tools-backup(Advanced settings)(recovery).

    or this

Press F8 during bootup to open Advanced Options.
    Select Repair your Computer.
    Select keyboard layout.
Select User name and Password. If Administrator account is disabled use another account.
Select in System Recovery Options the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Recovery
Restore Factory Default Settings to restore the system image.
Select the source From hard disk (recommended).
Last confirmation to restore the image.

thanks everyone for your help. i ended up getting it sorted pretty easy. i got a copy of windows vista and used driver pack solution to install the drivers. its a very handy program and i had never heard of it before.

Avira found Ad.gen in Driver pack solution!
Maybe a false positive but just thought I would let people know!
