Camera replays missing live action & scores

Tried to watch Down V Monaghan last Sunday and almost switched off a few times. Why does the cameraman/woman persist in showing replays of everything 2 or 3 times. They missed scores when they resumed live the last day, and were caught on the hop ( like Down ) for the second goal.

Surely we can watch the Sunday Game or Player if we really want to see a replay.

This crack is going on year after year. It's unprofessional and annoying.

RTÉ use BBC's feed for the Ulster games so it's an issue with the BBC rather than the Sunday Game.

its nothing got to do with the cameraman/woman its the people in the truck who are editing the game and showing the replays of what has happened ...i found sundays game to be the worst game i have watched in which they showed more of the replays than the live action on the field.

There are 3 other provinces where exactly the same thing happens.

This happened in the closing stages of the all Ireland hurling final in 1997.
Showing replay of Tipp chance when Ollie Baker scored a beauty of an equaliser. Catching the puckout in midfield, turning and hitting it over the bar.
Think they just caught it going over.

Disgrace. Was an epic finish to a game, but you really had to be there.

Surely this does not deserve its own thread....

So why are you wasting your valuable time here, then ?

it seems to be prevalent in most sports at the moment. Euro soccer games have the relentless slow motion replay, formula 1 has the same going through one corner. All the editors must have gotten a super slo mo button for Christmas.

That was worst I've seen for a gaa match. Rte did keep mentioning it was BBC NI coverage. Missed a Down goal, and at least 2 pts. Only saw them on replay.

At least RTE cameras/editors show u live stuff, then give a replay.

Bored in work, not much going on.

The odd time you'll miss a point but you'll just get it on another replay. It can be annoying but it only occurs in 1 match out of every 10. I'd prefer to continue to see the replays of good points and miss one every now and then.

RTE missed the greatest goal ever scored in Croke Park, James Horan V Kerry, A.I. semi final 1996.
