He's grand I'd say, the car doesnt look like if has much damage, just fishtailed out of it's lane.
Pic's of him on a stretcher with a neck brace and on a back board. So probably whiplash or a bad case of the boo-hoo's :D

the truck that hit his bullet proof SUV had more damage, he's been released now i think with minor injuries.

I'd say the new album will crash out of the charts.

I hope he's alright but I couldn't give a damn about 50 now....his last tape wasn't bad but the album is gonna be candy shop ish all over just wacker...I'd love if released more tracks like "Heat" and "Ski Mask Way"...I think 50 should go Indie and try and get his hunger back.

The new video from him, not sure if it's off the last mixtape or from the new album is actually decent enough. I wouldnt call myself a Fiddy fan at all, but it's nice to hear him actually rapping again rather than mumbling into a mic and relying on a catchy hook. Although, he sings the hook himself on the song which kinda blows, as dude cannot sing.

As far as the singing thats a bunch of B.S. In fairness boom bap theres going along with the melody of a beat to make a catchy hook and then theres actual singing which is hitting notes. Singing is what lil wayne tried do on that rock album or what even kanye tries to do via auto tune.

an artist of his size is very unlikely to go indie, but he's approaching this new album like he did of old, heavily back on the mixtape scene which is great too see. He's obviously hungry again to make good music, he's going against the label and releasing an album for his fans with 0 support from them. He's arguably released more free music than any other mainstream rapper in the past 2 years. He's got the money so the only reason he would still make music is because of his love for hip hop, he's said this time and time again.

What I'm saying is that 50's voice is not suited to being melodic, just my opinion.
What Kanye done on 808's was genius.

i taught you meant actual singing, id have to disagree though. Personally didnt like 808s as it was not hip hop at all, kanye is terrible when he goes down that auto tune route imo.

When I first heard 808's I was wondering what the hell it was, but I was advised to listen again, and it started making sense to me. I was actually listening to the demo version of it over the weekend and it sounds so much better in places. It's more raw and stripped down.

This is the 50 song I'm talking about

His rapping is great on this, the beat is decent, but when he starts 'singing' the 'dont make me' bit, i think it sounds awful, a bit cringy.

i really cant get into 808s the music is just not my cup of tea, its straight commercial pop music imo. I gave it a listen and hated it when it first came out and to this day i still hate it. Imagine his own boss jay z had to come out and put that auto tune craze to bed with the death of auto tune single. Even of the mbdtf album there were parts ruined by kanye sounding like he's strangling a few cats, he cant sing and auto tune assisted he sounds even worse.

i also hated complicated by 50 when i 1st heard it, for the exact same reasons as you the hook, but it grew on me. honestly man i could post up loads of 50 songs where he smashes the hook and is very melodic, he's bound to have a few bad one's because he doesnt saturate his music with ft's relying on others to do the hook for him but there is so much more good than bad. IMO he's the best hook man in hip hop now that nate's passed, listen to how he's consistently able to blend more than 1 catchy hook into a song like in da club, his hooks on the documentary kick started games career and were nothing short of excellent.

just give this video a listen of a few of his hooks, theres no rapper who does it so consistantly, its his strongest assest by far. He credits his hooks down to jam master jay, he taught him how to make and structure them, the way 50s hooks are structured are different.

the only reason he would still make music is because of his love for hip hop

Or to finally complete his contractual obligations with Interscope, this album's been a long time coming.

I despise Kanye when he sings but i was stunned at how well he performed heartless at WTT, that was something special, but when that song comes on the radio i immediately change the station. He's a better MC than he is a singer and that's for certain.

On 50 i think he performs some of the greatest hooks in hip hop. It's all down to JMJ, the hook on hate it or love it is probably his best.

kanye's whole set was perfection to be fair as was the concert. Was heartless when kanye rapped on that tower platform? I can remember the song being played alright just cant remember the scenario too well.

agree with you on 50s hooks.

we dont know for sure if this album is going to be distributed under interscope though, its rumored its not going to be and it makes sense considering the label want him to hold of til they think the time is right and i think if jimmy didnt want it coming out now , it wouldnt come out simple as.

he's doing it because he wants it out for his birthday, he doesnt care about sales anymore the man makes more money outside his music and as if he needed anymore so its obvious its for the love of the music as were the countless mixtapes and free music he's released the last few years.
