How Solicitor gets there Fees paid if case no win

    I have been advise about the cost of a case if no win.
    I have been told that they would take the case it might be long as its personal injury but I dont have that much money to pay if we dont win. Does anyone know what happens then, how solicitor gets the money?
    Would I have to sell everything to pay them? Do they even get any money?
    Would any solicitor take a case if they know I have no money?

    Some may do the case on a 'no foal; no fee' basis, but it would want to be negotiated upfront. Just like any other service, if you use them you must pay them. If you do not win your case, you owe them the money and it is your issue how you discharge it.

    kay.79, it sounds like you have a personal injury claim.

    These are questions you should ask your solicitor.

    Some solicitors work on "no win, no fee". Explain your financial situation and you should be able to work something out with your solicitor.

    so, that means I could never pay them cause I dont have the money. They talking about 60000 sure nobody would have that kind of money to spend on a court case and no pays up front.
