Colleague in work buying her first car. She was looking at a Pajero Jnr 1.1L 1997. She has a budget of 2.2k and doesnt mind spending all of it.

I dont know a lot about these cars/jeeps, any advice would be greatly appreciated maybe any alternative models/makes too.

    Many thanks

Should have said the Pajero jun is €1750. Is that good value??

I'm not an expert but that doesn't sound like good value to me.

Could you post a link to it maybe?

Does she need a jeep for any particular reason? Most people would buy a Nissan Micra or similiar as a first car -> Example

Does she actually need a 4x4 like the Pajero Jnr or is it just something she likes? €2,200 will get you a very decent newer car these days. Unless she actually will be using the 4wd I would look at something like a Yaris or Fiesta as a first car.

Also has she actually got an insurance quote on the Pajero Jnr?
