I have a creaky driver door. Looking for suggestions on what I should I use to lubricate it.
Also, while I'm on the subject: Back suspension on the car is a bit squeaky... Any suggestions on what I should use to lubricate that?
I have used WD40 before, but it has been brought to my attention (repeatedly) that this is not a lubricant.

I hope the thread title got your attention.

WD40 will do just fine on a door for a while.

As for the suspension, dont bother, most likely a balljoint/control arm rubber is shot to death. Thats a NCT failure and genuinely hazardous while driving, cornering. Plus it is uncomfortable.

Get it changed, you better off.

Yep your right. WD40 is more of a solvent then a lubricant. Any lubricant there will be washed away by WD40

Try something like the spray based version of 3in1. Or get a grease gun at it
