Embarassing teeth

Hi thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Well here goes my teeth are in a really bad way ive missing teeth in the back, serious decay on others, a overbite, enamel badly worn on fronth teeth. I know to get them fixed will be in the thousands, and I know this may sound silly to some but in my teens they started to go downhill and I was embarassed by this and buried my head in the sand sadly now due to my lack of never visiting a dentist there shocking altogether. This week i need to get a root canal scheduled on Wednesday and since it my first visit in years the dentist doing the job said id need to refered to a specialist.

Ive decided enough is enough but I know the repairs will be in the thousands and thousands is not something I have lying around readily. Im wondering could anyone recommend a dentist for me to visit? Also Id love to get it done now that ive finally got the nerve up is there places that can set up payment plans for the work to be done? Thanks once again.

I have buck teeth and went to the dentist to get my front teeth pulled out. The dentist said " sure I can't get them pulled any further!"

Why would you post this in AH, with all due respect to AH they are a bunch of clowns and will probably tell you to eat a carrot with your buck teeth.

I'm presuming you are being serious.

Op, this is something that comes up a lot "being embarrased" by the state of your teeth.

I'm not a dentist but had similar issues and to be honest a lot of people do.
As the dentists on here will tell you, they will generally see worse people than you that DAY! never mind in weeks/months.

Your starting to point is to make an appointment, if you give your location people can PM you any recommendations.

apply for a medical card,.that will cover some stuff if u qualify for one..if your unemployd you have high chance to get one also if you work part time or your on minimum wage, you might as well just apply theres no harm in doin it u never know..

your definately gonna need some hygienist treatment for cleaning the decay and plaque off your teeth if they are as bad as you say, thats 70 euro a visit and you may need 2 or 3 visits if they are going to do scaling, its about 70 euro just to see a dentist for a check up also. and for pulling teeth its over 100 euro and similar for fillings..then you have crowns 1000 plus, veneers around 1000 also, pulling teeth around 100, whitening is around 250 - 500 depending what you get.. a partial denture around 600 - 1000 depending on what type u get

your better of gettin it all done get a good job and u can finally be confident and happy with yourself smiling around others,it will do wonders for your self confidence..

some dentists will let u pay a little bit each visit,i went to a great dentist last year i was very embaressd also and wasnt at one for a few years and he put me at ease and the surgery was very modern and really great staff, pm me if you would like me to give u the link to his website as im not allowed promote any dentists business on here

Some dentists let you set up a payment plan. I had a bill of 60 euro he let me pay over 12 weeks at 5 euro installments

I dont qualify for any of the above as im already on full time employment nor on minimum wage,I can ge the money but giving I have other bills it will take me some time to build up the kind of money im going to need, hence why im wondering if some can set up payment plans were a certain amount is paid every week or something similar while also allowing me to start getting the work done now.

Id also say I need a bit of all of the above, and I do know if I had a better smile it would make me more confident im not a shy person but do find myself around strangers hiding my smile as best i can.

    pm sent thanks.
