Excellent videos thank you. Am I imaging it, but did it appear that the 777 did not seem to use much runway, both for take off and landing?

I guess it just shows the great power of those engines :)

Great video. Sadly it also shows a big drawback of the mound, sound is usually compromised by the continuous traffic passing by it.

Brilliant videos, My missus travelled on of them yesterday out to Dubai and then she gets to go on to another one en route to Durban this morning!!

Have to say I'm a little bit jealous!!!

    Any trip reviews of it?

If anyone is heading to DUB airport for planespotting today, Emirates is sending in one of their latest arrivals, A6-EGR. -EGS was noted on airliners.net forum as only having been delivered a few days ago and was put on the Singapore route. So i'm guessing -EGR is pretty new too..

Has anyone seen -EGO on the DUB route yet?

Nice videos - hoping to travel to Dubai on the 777 later this year with a stopover and then on to Iraq.

was checking out Emirates flights for early 2013 recently and noticed that the Dubai to Dublin flight is scheduled to be on an A380. Anyone know if this could be true??? I was more excited about the prospect of getting into an A380 rather than the trip!

This photo illustrates the great size of the 77W :)

Lovely idea but I'm not sure if Dublin could handle an a380.
I think the airbridges needed are bigger/different to normal ones and are the runways long enough?

Id say you looked at it wrong,i was also looking at flights for early January/February and its the 777 from DXB to DUB,the flights i was viewing were to Asia and from DXB to HKG it was the A380.

Nice videos and a nice plane, it is such a shame that Emirates went with ten abreast seating as it makes the whole experience just so cramped and I'll never again fly on a 10 abreast 777, terrible in-flight experience in terms of comfort and space.

The Emirates 777 coming to Dublin today is A6-EGT. She's brand spanking new. They only took delivery of it on Saturday.
