Customs Charges When Buying From UK

    Hi all.

    I'm looking at buying PC Tablet from the UK on Ebay. Are there any customs or imports charges on electronic goods from the UK?

    No customs/or import charges.

    Can you post a link to the Ebay ad in question ?

    Some Ebay sellers claim to be based in UK however this is no entirely the truth.

    He quotes no postage to Ireland, so do not bid on it until he both confirms he will send it here, and how much he will charge.

    You may not even be allowed bid on it, since it might detect your Irish address and exclude you. In which case he can try and change his auction. A few times I had to temporarily change my address to be a UK one to allow me to bid -but I always confirmed they would send here before this and told them what I was at.

    Hello. I'm looking at buying lens for my digital camera from the UK on amazone. Its cost €110 and super saver shipping (€0). Are there any customs or imports charges on lens from the UK?

    There's no changes for items sent from within the EU, although it's on an EU/UK website always make sure it's not dispatched from outside the EU.
