Cancelling UPC subscription

Why is it that I can purchase a subscription from UPC 24/7 however I am unable to cancel unless I call UPC between 9am - 5pm? I personally work nights and am asleep during these hours. Why is it that when I call outside of these hours, I cannot request a callback from the cancellations department? I must call them myself.…

Why is that I can purchase a subscription online however I cannot cancel my subscription online?

I would like a response from the UPC rep who posts on boards.ie

You can cancel your subscription by emailing resolutionteam@upc.ie

30 days notice is required though.
