So I have recently just moved to the Sandymount area and I've noticed a job which I am interested in the Dun Laoghaire area however I don't own a car and I was wondering if people could tell me if there are buses going between these two areas and at what time do the buses run to? The nature of this work may require late shifts and as far as I am aware the dart stops around 11ish. thanks

Route 7 operates along the Rock Road and Merrion Roads, but last bus (as with all city bus routes) is 23:30.

Aircoach is no use, you can only get on or off at Dublin Airport, they cannot take traffic that is not to or from the airport on their city routes.

I wish people would stop suggesting Aircoach for this sort of journey.

Aircoach can only take people to/from the Airport. They are not allowed set people down en route to the airport, nor can they pick up along the route from the airport.

Depends whereabouts in Dun Laoghaire the job is!
    It's a very large borough.
I've even seen some people refer to places in the likes of Cabinteely or Deansgrange as being in "Dun Laoghaire".

Last Darts from Dun Laoghaire towards Sandymount are 22.59, 23.14 and 23.39

Last bus on route 7 departs from Loughlinstown at 23.30, would be in DL about 10-15 minutes later.

As previous poster it depends on what part of Dun Laoghaire, it can be used to describe a wide area distant from the town itself.
