    Hi All,

I have a specific problem with one of my TV setups and looking for clever options / ideas!

We are going to put a tv on our kitchen wall, flat screen, but failed to forward plan for a tv aerial (we got power socket now), house is up a few years now. The house is two story with hollow core so access to roof is not possible however I have a conduit that goes in through the wall and into the utility room on the other side, so I can possible have Rabbit ears (small indoor aerial). (not sure if they will pick up TV signal)

I need a tv with a build in tuner as I cant really put a box beside it as there is no place for it.

    My thoughts:

    1) Get a saorview in built tuner tv, and feed in rabbit ears connection into the back, and hope it works?

    2) Get a saorview in built tuner tv and connect it with a wireless AV sender type decive, and feed the dv from the current sky connection?

    Any ideas would be great!.

It not possible to say if an indoor aerial will work at your location, depends on signal strength/quality where you locate the aerial.

Would it be possible to mount an outdoor aerial somewhere external on the house other than the roof and run the cable in through the utility and on to the TV?

might be slightly awkward to do but its possible i think might look a bit ugly, but i guess if the rabbit ears dont work its an option.

Do you happen to know if TVs from the UK will be able to pick up saorview, does it have to have a special tuner inbuilt with it..

Some will, so won't, DVB-T/MPEG-4 L4.0 video decoder required. Always best to go for a Saorview approved model.
