    Hi

Thinking fo possibly heading away for a few days over New Years, anyone have any reccomendations/experiences?

Was thinking either Prague (very cold) or one fo the Canaries etc. for a bit of heat. Need to take the days off work anyways so have about 5 days to play with

Central Europe is great at NY, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Vienna. Possibly cold possibly similar to Ireland.

But this would be quite different from the Canaries!
If you don't want very cold weather go to Lisbon or Naples.

I went to Prague for Christmas 2010 and had an amazing time, all the Christmas markets in the old town square opened each day, it was snowing but that only added to the holiday, nothing was closed down because of the weather and they had the footpaths cleared every day..including Christmas day!
